Tyza Stewart completed a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) from Queensland College of Art in 2012. In 2013, their solo show, Will You Come curated by Joel Mu, was presented at 55 Sydenham Rd Marrickville, and the publication Tyzatyzatyza released. In 2014, Tyza undertook a four-week residency at Boxcopy, and in 2016 a month long studio residency and cumulative exhibition at the Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane. Stewart’s work has been shown at UQ Art Museum, Neon Parc, Griffith University Art Gallery, Redcliffe Art Gallery, QUT Art Museum, and was included in GOMA Q: Contemporary Queensland Art (2015). Tyza is represented by Heiser Gallery, Brisbane.
