Beth Dillon
Lives and works in Sydney and Berlin.
Beth Dillon explores negotiations of site, self and culture through costumed performance, text-based experimentation, video installation and collaborative live art events. Her work draws on methodologies of slapstick humour, wordplay and techniques of staging, experimenting with the manipulation and framing of bodies and objects within spaces of the gallery, the festival and the great outdoors.
Beth also works collaboratively with Sydney-based performance collective, 110%, with Berlin-based artist and designer, Anton Benois, and occasional others. She holds a BFA (Hons 1st Class) from the College of Fine Arts, Sydney (2013). Beth currently works between Australia, Germany and elsewhere, making and learning, thinking and doing through residency programs, independent research and collaborative partnerships.
